Death Over Brunch
Sunday, June 8
12:00 pm - 2 pm
Social Hall

Brunch generously sponsored by Marsha Pierson on behalf of CBE's V'shamru Legacy Society.

We believe that talking about death not only better prepares us to approach life’s most challenging moments, but also helps us articulate and affirm who we are and what we ultimately care about. This program originally created by rabbis, theologians, wellness, and palliative care experts as, Death Over Dinner: Jewish Edition provides a unique lens through which to build and strengthen our personal beliefs about life and death.

Join us for an in-person gathering in a brave, healing space to talk about how we choose to live our lives, recognizing that they are finite. This structured conversation is open to everyone, regardless of life stage.

Conversations will be facilitated by CBE member, Rabbi Lisa Grant, and Rabbi Melanie Levav, Director of the Shomer Collective  https://www.shomercollective.org/.  It will NOT be recorded and will provide plenty of opportunity for reflection and conversation.

Space is limited to 48 registrants. There is a $10 fee to hold your space.

We hope that this will be the first of many CBE programs focusing on Jewish approaches to aging and end-of-life.
