If you haven’t already seen Ava DuVernay’s 2016 Academy Award nominated documentary 13th, it’s a must see. If you’ve seen it before, you’ll want to see it again. 13th traces the history of injustice, attitudes about race, and mass incarceration in this country since the Civil War. Join members of the CBE community to watch the film together and then discuss it in small groups.
