Second Annual Hope for Our Future Award Banquet

At our Second Annual Hope for Our Future Award Banquet, CBE will be honoring the Association for Civil Rights in Israel (ACRI), Israel’s oldest civil rights organization. In the midst of trauma and tragedy, ACRI has continued to work as a joint staff of Israelis and Palestinians partnering to defend and protect civil and human rights. They are showing what a hopeful future could look like — a future where Israelis and Palestinians, and all people, are able to defend each others’ humanity and live side-by-side in dignity and justice.
After Shabbat services, we’ll host a banquet and award ceremony to recognize their work. ACRI’s Executive Director, Rabbi Noa Sattath, will join us that night to speak with us about the current situation in Israel and Gaza, and receive CBE’s Hope for Our Future Award as well as our financial contribution to ACRI.
