CBE Community Art Show 2025

We are excited to invite you to participate in this year’s Community Art Show. The art show is a great way to connect with other CBE members, meet fellow artists, and see some amazing artwork! Submissions for the Art Show open Wednesday, April 2nd and close on Sunday, April 20, 2025.

Curious about how you can be in the show?  Here’s the criteria:  

(1) Participating artists must be members of the CBE Community and
(2) All work must be new to the CBE Community Art Show.

4x6 Postcard Challenge

New this year, we’ve added a creative challenge for the community and we’d love 100% participation from our artists. Recently, we visited an exhibition at the Jewish Museum that inspired us to ask you to join us in showing how you respond as an artist to the current polarizing civic climate. If you choose to participate in the 4x6 postcard challenge, let us know in your registration form that you are participating and drop it with your other work on May 15th or May 16th at the drop-off times provided on the schedule below. Schedule: 

Thursday, May 15
 -Artwork drop off 6-8 pm

Friday, May 16
-9-11 a.m.: Artwork drop off
-5:30 p.m.: Jewish Happy Hour & Open Gallery (Social Hall)
-6:30 p.m.: Kabbalat Shabbat Services (Chapel)
-7:45 p.m.: Kiddush & Dessert (Lobby)
-8-9 p.m.: Open Gallery (Social Hall)

Saturday, May 17
-9:30 a.m.-11:45 a.m.: Shabbat Morning Service (Sanctuary)
-noon: Light Refreshments and Remarks from Co-Chairs and Rabbi Matt Green (Social Hall) 
-1-4 p.m.: Open Gallery
-6:30-7 Artists toast and group photo
-7-9:30 Art Show

Sunday May 18
-10 a.m.- 1 p.m.: Open Gallery 
-1 p.m. - 2 p.m. Pick up artwork

Image Authorization and Release:


I hereby grant to Congregation Beth Elohim  (“CBE”) the right to use my name, photograph, and likeness (including composite representations) for any purpose and in any media (print and digital) in perpetuity. Uses may include newsletters, slides, posters, promotional videos, or other audio and visual materials.   
 
I understand that I will not be paid for granting these rights to CBE and that any materials in which my name, photograph, or likeness is used will belong solely to CBE.  I waive the right to inspect or approve versions of my image used for publication or the written copy that may be used in connection with the images. I also understand that CBE is not required to use my photograph or likeness in any way.
